Built to Spill “Broken Chairs” live at Virgin Megastore, Sunset Blvd. Los Angeles, CA. 1999. My bff Andrea was in charge of all of these in-stores, and this one was easily my favorite. I drove out from Vegas for it (and the show that night at the Roxy). You can see me in the crowd - I’m right up front, behind the guy in the blue hat. I’m the bleached blonde kid in the white t-shirt bouncing up and down (at the 2:08 mark). This was SUCH an awesome performance. Seeing BTS is such an intimate setting was amazing.
