Band Shirt Of The Day: Goodbye Harry
I bought this Goodbye Harry shirt on January 25, 2008 at the Triple Nickel Tavern in Colorado Springs, CO. Scott Reynolds had just begun the first tour with his new band, Scott Reynolds and the Steaming Beast, and they were opening for Drag The River on a handful of Colorado dates. Scott showed up with tons of merch in tow; he had 2 different Goodbye Harry shirts (which he had printed himself), as well as a Steaming Beast shirt, some leftover Pavers shirts, and a bunch of CDs and vinyl. I spent a shit ton of money buying everything I could get my hands on.
Big benefit show in Colorado Springs this weekend. If you can make it out to the Triple Nickel in Colorado Springs, I can promise you a great time. Plus, you’ll be helping out Ricky Grueter (brother of JJ from Drag the River/The Nobodys) who needs bone marrow treatments.
If you can’t make the show, you can donate here via Pay Pal - all of this money goes straight into Ricky’s pockets.
Or, for a limited time, Drag the River are selling their records for a “Pay What You Want” type of deal, and all that money goes to Ricky too. Go here if you wanna do that.
The Grueters are some of my favorite people on this planet. It’d sure be awesome if you could help them out.
From 1999-2006 I owned and operated an independent record label - Big Lizard Records. And I would post Big Lizard Records stickers everywhere. This one was posted on a change machine at the Triple Nickel Tavern in Colorado Springs, CO.
