The picture at the top of this post is the poster I got at the show. #87 of 200.
Speaking of, here’s shoddy amateur video of the Bob Mould Band with Dave Grohl on drums performing Husker Du’s “New Day Rising.” Bob’s current band consists of Superchunk drummer Jon Wurster (who switched to guitar for this particular song), and Verbow bassist Jason Narducy.
The venue last night had a pretty strict no camera policy, so good amateur vids and pics are few and far between. The whole event last night was being filmed, so I assume a DVD will be released at some point. I’m planning on posting a setlist as soon as I can find one.
Edit: even watching this video gives me fucking chills. It was SO incredible seeing this last night.
Dave Grohl jumped behind the drumkit to perform “New Day Rising” with Bob Mould and his band. It was pretty fucking epic.

Going to see Foo Fighters tonight at the Forum with Officer Lewis. Unfortunately, Jawbreaker and Ween aren’t the opening bands tonight. It’d be pretty rad if they were though.
Foo Fighters “Dear Rosemary”
Bob Mould joins the Foos on this track, and it’s fucking epic. Easily my favorite song on Wasting Light, which is probably their best record since The Color and the Shape.
Foo Fighters “White Limo”
I’m not gonna lie…this song is pretty rockin.’ And pretty rad. I hope the rest of the record sounds like this.
Also, LEMMY!
